Providing sustainable, effective remedial solutions for complex soil and groundwater contamination since 1993

Over 3,500 TreeWell® units installed across North America and Europe, with zero worker injuries in more than 30 years of installation.

Nature-based solutions in even the most challenging conditions.

TreeWell® technology provides solutions

Our patented TreeWell® Systems offer a cost-effective, nature-based, sustainable remediation alternative that can provide hydraulic control and contaminant mass reduction. Our technology allows access to deep groundwater and bedrock aquifers, and our methods promote in-situ microbial degradation of subsurface contaminants.

Contaminants successfully treated by TreeWell® Systems

• Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) • Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs) including 1,4-dioxane • Pesticides • Agricultural inorganics such as nitrate & ammonium • Tritium • Solubilized metals: lead, arsenic, boron, zinc, cadmium

Our Services

Our services include site evaluation, remedial design, phytoremediation implementation, monitoring and maintenance, and our PHYTO-INTEGRATED® approach, which coordinates combined remediation strategies integrating our TreeWell-based engineered phytoremediation systems with complementary non-phyto remedial technologies.

How We Work

ANS operates as a hybrid remediation consultant and contractor, most often partnering with a site owner's environmental consultant to develop site-wide remedial strategies. We stay involved through the full project lifecycle — from early feasibility conversations through design, installation, and long-term monitoring.

Not every site is a fit for a TreeWell System. We conduct a thorough feasibility assessment before committing to a project, evaluating site hydrogeology and hydraulic conditions to confirm viability — an approach that prioritizes remediation outcomes over "buyer beware" installation.

Safety first.

Safety is a top priority in TreeWell installation, given the inherent risks of large-diameter borehole work. Our patented TreeWell Safety Platform, combined with decades-long relationships with preferred drillers and crews, has enabled ANS to install over 3,500 units over 30 years with zero worker injuries.
